Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, blend the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar generously on top of the batter.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serving
- Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzled with caramel sauce.
