  • 1 cup milk almond milk can be used for a dairy-free option
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar sprinkled on top before baking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar generously on top of the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
