- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Using a mixer, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and egg, mixing just until incorporated.
- Slowly blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture until well combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and sliced almonds until evenly distributed.
- Using a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto parchment-covered baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
