Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb beef steak (cut into bite-sized pieces) Can substitute with chicken or tofu.
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk until well mixed.
  2. Add the bite-sized beef steak pieces into the bowl, stirring to ensure they are evenly coated with the sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop, adding a splash of water or broth to keep them moist. Marinating the beef in the honey-soy mixture for a couple of hours before cooking enhances flavor.
