Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups frozen corn (or fresh corn, if in season) Fresh corn is highly recommended when in season.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup sugar Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • chopped fresh herbs Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a slow cooker, combine the frozen corn, cream cheese, butter, half-and-half, and sugar.
  2. Stir well to distribute the ingredients evenly.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and the mixture is creamy.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  3. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.

Notes
