  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 ounces chicken-flavored stuffing mix
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounces each)
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Preparation

  • Add the chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly over the cheese.
  • Spread the cream of chicken soup over the stuffing mix.
  • Pour the chicken broth over everything.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for eight hours or on high for four hours.

Notes

For added flavor, season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite spices before cooking. For a crunchier topping, add crushed crackers or crispy onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking. You can also mix in sour cream or cream cheese for a creamier dish. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for three days or frozen for up to two months.
