  • 1 pkg yeast Any type of yeast will work, but make sure it's fresh.
  • 1 cup very warm water Make sure the water is warm but not too hot.
  • 1 tbsp sugar To help bloom the yeast.
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil Olive oil can be a substitute.
  • 1 tsp salt Enhances flavor.
  • 2.5 cups flour All-purpose flour is preferred.

Preparation
  1. In the mixer bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water and sugar, then sprinkle in the yeast. Let it bloom for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Gradually add the flour in small amounts, stirring as you go.
  3. Next, add salt and oil. Continue mixing for at least 5 minutes until your dough is smooth and elastic. If it’s too dry, mix in the remaining tablespoon of warm water.
  4. Line the slow cooker bowl with parchment paper or use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
  5. Place your dough in the center of the slow cooker. Cover with a clean tea towel, then place the lid on top.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  2. Once cooking is complete, remove the lid and towel, allowing it to sit for a few minutes. Carefully lift the bread out using the parchment paper and let it cool completely before slicing.
