  • 16 ounces Lil Smokies (cocktail sausages)
  • 12 ounces bacon Feel free to switch types of bacon.
  • 1 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • toothpicks For securing the bacon around the sausages.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut each slice of bacon into 3 pieces.
  2. Wrap a piece of bacon around each sausage, securing it with a toothpick.
  3. Combine the brown sugar and paprika in a bowl until well mixed.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of the brown sugar mix into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  5. Add your wrapped sausages into the slow cooker.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mix over the top of the sausages.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally for even browning.
  8. Remove from the slow cooker and serve warm.
