Ingredients
  

Beef and Sauce Ingredients
  • 400 g Beef (chuck or brisket) Choose cuts for tenderness
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Light soy sauce
  • Hoisin sauce
  • White rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes Adjust to spice preference
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour For thickening
Noodle and Vegetable Ingredients
  • 500 g Chicken stock
  • Water
  • 1 Red pepper (chopped)
  • Noodles (your choice, e.g., egg noodles)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In your slow cooker, add the beef, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, chili flakes, and cornflour. Stir until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, allowing the beef to become tender and absorb all the delicious flavors.
  2. After 2 hours, introduce the noodles, chicken stock, and water to the pot. Toss in the chopped red pepper.
  3. Cover again and let it cook on low for another 25 minutes or until the noodles are perfectly tender.
  4. Ladle the fragrant noodles into bowls and enjoy right away.
