  • 1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Dumpling Wrappers
  • 1 small package wonton wrappers

Method

Preparation
  1. Chop the vegetables and shrimp to ensure everything is finely cut for easy wrapping.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shrimp, cabbage, green onions, broccoli, carrot, egg, cornstarch, vegetable oil, and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assembly
  1. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface.
  2. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to create a triangle.
