  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to combine.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly and can become tough. Feel free to use other types of pasta like penne or linguine. For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can add vegetables such as broccoli or spinach for added nutrition.
