Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line an 8-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sesame seeds, poppy seeds, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients, then add the mashed bananas, eggs, olive oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine.
- Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the blueberries and transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and coarse sugar. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.
Baking
- Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool for about 15 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
