Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 80 g pumpkin seeds
  • 80 g sunflower seeds
  • 80 g sesame seeds
  • 50 g ground flaxseed (or linseed)
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder (or granules)
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder (or granules)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (e.g., oregano)
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (and a little more for brushing)
  • 410 ml warm water

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and ground flaxseed. Stir well to mix them.
  2. Add the fine sea salt, dried herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and nutritional yeast to the mix. Give it another stir to combine all the flavors.
  3. Pour in the olive oil and warm water, stirring until everything is thoroughly mixed to form a thick texture.
  4. Cover the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken.
  5. Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F) and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the seed mixture evenly onto the baking tray, patting it down with the back of a spoon.
  7. Brush the top with a bit of olive oil and bake in the oven for 50-55 minutes, checking frequently to ensure they do not burn.
  8. Once baked to perfection, let the crackers cool completely before breaking them into pieces.
