- Season both sides of the scallops with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In a skillet, melt a generous amount of butter over medium-high heat.
- Once the butter is bubbling, add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
- Carefully place the scallops in the skillet. Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until they develop a golden-brown crust.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the scallops and gently toss to coat.
