Preparation
- Gather fresh shrimp and scallops. If you’re using frozen seafood, make sure to thaw it completely, rinse under cold water, and pat dry.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until they become translucent.
- Toss in your shrimp and scallops, cooking for approximately 3 minutes. You want the shrimp to turn pink and the scallops to look opaque.
- Pour in the white grape juice and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Next, stir in the heavy cream along with the salt and black pepper until everything is nicely combined.
- Transfer the seafood mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese generously on top. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the gratin for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving, as it will be bubbling hot!

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, ideally consumed within 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven to preserve texture. Fresh seafood is best for flavor; consider adding herbs before baking for extra taste.
