Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry Layers
  • 1 pack Puff pastry Use according to package instructions
  • 250 g Ricotta cheese
  • to taste Flaky sea salt For sprinkling on pastry
  • to taste Black pepper To taste in the ricotta mixture
Lemon-Ricotta Filling
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest Freshly grated
  • 150 ml Heavy cream For whipping
Topping
  • 200 g Prosciutto Thinly sliced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the puff pastry package instructions.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Place the pastry on a baking sheet and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Baking
  1. Bake until golden and puffed, about 15-20 minutes.
Making the Filling
  1. In a bowl, whip the ricotta cheese with lemon zest, heavy cream, and a pinch of black pepper until creamy.
Assembly
  1. Once the pastry layers are baked and cooled, assemble by layering puff pastry, whipped lemon-ricotta, and prosciutto.
  2. Finish with another layer of puff pastry on top.
