  • 150 g fresh goat cheese Ensure the cheese is soft and at room temperature for smoother mixing.
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • to taste Fig chili jam Add on top before serving.
  • optional Black pepper caramel Use for flavor enhancement before caramelizing the top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine fresh goat cheese and heavy cream until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into ramekins.
  4. Place the ramekins into a baking dish and fill the dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until set.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  3. Once cooled, chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Serving
  1. Top with a layer of black pepper caramel (if using) and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the top until golden brown.
  2. Serve with a spoonful of fig chili jam on top.

Notes
