Main ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 1 can Canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 small head Cabbage, sliced
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Preparation

  • Start by browning the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Make sure to break it up into small pieces as it cooks.
  • Once the beef is browned, add in the cooked rice, sliced cabbage, diced tomatoes, paprika, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything well to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and the flavors have melded beautifully.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then serve.

Notes

Serve warm. Great on its own or paired with a side salad or crusty bread. For added flavor, sprinkle cheese on top before serving. Let any leftovers cool completely before storing in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
