Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 ring garlic sausage ring (12 ounces)
  • 1-2 cobs corn on the cob
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes, washed and scrubbed
  • 1 whole sweet pepper (any color)
Seasoning and Oil
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to 350°F or set it to medium heat.
  2. Cut four pieces of foil, approximately 12 inches long.
  3. Slice the garlic sausage into medallions and place them in a bowl.
  4. Slice the potatoes, corn, and peppers into bite-sized pieces. Add them to the bowl with the sausage.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture over the sausage and veggies, and mix until everything is well coated.
  7. Divide the mixture evenly onto two pieces of foil and fold the packets tightly, ensuring the seams are pinched well.
  8. Wrap each packet again in another piece of foil for added protection during grilling.
Cooking
  1. Place the packets on the grill and roast for approximately 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Carefully check for doneness by opening one packet and piercing a potato; it should be tender.
  3. Remove the packets from the grill, open them carefully, and enjoy the deliciousness!
