Ingredients
  

For the pancake batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Other ingredients

  • 8 pieces Sausages (pre-cooked or breakfast sausages)
  • to taste Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (the batter may be lumpy).

Cooking

  • Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and grease lightly.
  • Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  • While pancakes cook, dip the sausages into the pancake batter and place them on the griddle.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.

Serving

  • Serve warm with maple syrup. Optionally, add fresh fruits such as berries or sliced bananas.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter; it's fine if it's lumpy, this helps keep the pancakes fluffy. Use a non-stick griddle or skillet to prevent sticking. Experiment with different types of sausages for added flavor.
