Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (the batter may be lumpy).
Cooking
  1. Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and grease lightly.
  2. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  3. While pancakes cook, dip the sausages into the pancake batter and place them on the griddle.
  4. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
