Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin on both sides.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 2–3 minutes on each side until it is lightly browned.
Cooking
- Pour the salsa over the chicken. Then, sprinkle the diced red onion and green bell pepper evenly on top.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Before serving, garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes
