  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
Cheese Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Topping
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Seasoning and Oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cauliflower and broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Roasting
  1. Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, until tender and slightly browned.
Making the Cheese Sauce
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Final Assembly
  1. Pour the cheese sauce over the roasted vegetables.
  2. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the topping is golden.
  3. Serve warm.
