Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the red velvet cake mix as per package instructions, mixing in water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Pour the batter into a 9x13 inch pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Mix in the cream cheese frosting until you achieve a well-combined mixture.
- Shape the mixture into heart-shaped balls while inserting a cake pop stick in each.
- Refrigerate the cake pops for at least 1 hour before serving.
