Preparation
- (Optional) In a pan over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- In your crock pot, combine the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir it well to blend all those flavors.
- Add the seared (or unseared) chicken breasts into the crock pot, coating them in the creamy sauce.
Cooking
- Cover and set your crock pot to low for 6-7 hours, or to high for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- After cooking, use two forks to shred the chicken right in the sauce.
- Stir in the sour cream for that extra creamy goodness.
- If desired, garnish with shredded cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes
