  • 1 box box of scalloped potatoes
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • pack of bacon
  • Shredded cheese

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion together over medium heat. Add your favorite seasonings, such as salt, pepper, or garlic powder, to taste. Cook until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease when fully cooked.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked hamburger meat with the can of cream of potato soup. Stir until everything is mixed together well.
  • In a 13x9 inch baking pan, place the uncooked scalloped potatoes at the bottom.
  • Prepare the sauce that comes in the scalloped potatoes box according to the package directions.
  • Spread the hamburger and cream of potato mixture over the uncooked scalloped potatoes in the pan. Pour the sauce mixture over everything evenly.
  • Place the pan in the oven without covering it. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  • While the dish bakes, cut the bacon into small pieces and cook them in a skillet until crispy. Set aside when done.
  • After 25 minutes, take the pan out of the oven. Sprinkle the cooked bacon pieces and shredded cheese over the top. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Once finished, let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious Quick and Easy Meal!
