Ingredients
  

Potato Layer

  • 3 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • grated mozzarella, as needed

Beef Stuffing

  • 0.77 lb minced beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 6 sprigs coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Prepare potatoes by peeling and slicing them thinly. Season with salt.
  • On a parchment-lined baking sheet, layer grated mozzarella, then arrange potato slices on top, slightly overlapping. Drizzle with olive oil and ensure even coverage. Bake at 392°F for 30 minutes.
  • For the stuffing, heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add minced beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, seasonings, and coriander, cooking until well combined.
  • Remove potatoes from oven, add another layer of cheese, then the beef mixture. Top with more cheese, roll carefully, and add cheese on top of the roll. Bake at 482°F for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • After baking, slice the roll and serve.
