  • 1 piece chuck roast
  • 1 packet Italian seasoning mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 2 cups beef broth
Cranberry Pot Roast Ingredients
  • 1 piece chuck roast
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce This adds sweetness and depth.
  • 1 cup onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth

Method
 

Mississippi Pot Roast Preparation
  1. Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Top with butter and pepperoncini peppers.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Three Envelope Roast Preparation
  1. Season the chuck roast with the Italian seasoning, ranch, and brown gravy mixes.
  2. Place in a slow cooker and add beef broth.
  3. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until tender.
Cranberry Pot Roast Preparation
  1. Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the cranberry sauce and onion soup mix on top.
  3. Pour in the beef broth.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
