  • 6 slices bacon, chopped Cook until crispy

Method
 

Cooking Noodles
  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Bacon and Onions
  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent and fragrant.
Cabbage and Combining
  1. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Cook until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.
  2. Add the cooked egg noodles and bacon to the skillet with the cabbage. Stir to combine. Add the butter and let it melt, coating everything evenly.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
