Ingredients

For the sliders
  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls (12 rolls)
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices provolone cheese (tear or fold to cover the rolls)
  • 12 slices pepperoni
For the glaze
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the pack of Hawaiian rolls horizontally to create a bottom layer and a top layer.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared pan, fitting them snugly together.
  4. Spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the bottom rolls.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and lay provolone slices on top, tearing if needed to cover all rolls.
  6. Place one slice of pepperoni on each roll.
  7. Replace the top half of the rolls.
Glazing and Baking
  1. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  3. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 17 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3 minutes to brown the tops.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven, let rest for 2 minutes, then cut between the rolls to separate sliders.
  2. Serve warm with extra marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

You can customize the recipe by using different toppings or cheeses. For heartier sliders, add cooked Italian sausage or mushrooms under the cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container or wrap tightly in plastic wrap in the fridge for 3–4 days.
