Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 roll Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 3 tablespoons pizza sauce Feel free to experiment with different sauces.
  • 1 package Hormel pizza pepperoni Can substitute with veggies or turkey slices.
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese Other cheese options can be used.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll out the crescent rolls onto a flat surface and pinch the seams together tightly.
  3. Gently press the dough to form a rectangle that measures approximately 12 x 15 inches.
  4. Spoon the pizza sauce onto the dough and spread it evenly, leaving about a ¼ inch edge at the borders.
  5. Layer the pepperoni over the sauce, ensuring each slice touches but maintains a single layer.
  6. Place the sliced mozzarella over the pepperoni layer.
  7. Starting from the longest side, roll the dough as tightly as you can towards the opposite end.
  8. Pinch the edges to seal.
  9. Using a serrated knife, cut the roll into 12 slices with a sawing motion.
  10. Lay the slices flat in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
  11. Bake for about 20 – 25 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  12. Enjoy!
