Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Roll out the crescent rolls onto a flat surface and pinch the seams together tightly.
- Gently press the dough to form a rectangle that measures approximately 12 x 15 inches.
- Spoon the pizza sauce onto the dough and spread it evenly, leaving about a ¼ inch edge at the borders.
- Layer the pepperoni over the sauce, ensuring each slice touches but maintains a single layer.
- Place the sliced mozzarella over the pepperoni layer.
- Starting from the longest side, roll the dough as tightly as you can towards the opposite end.
- Pinch the edges to seal.
- Using a serrated knife, cut the roll into 12 slices with a sawing motion.
- Lay the slices flat in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Bake for about 20 – 25 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
