  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt or cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pineapple juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. If using, fold in crushed pineapple gently.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
