Ingredients
  

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • 1 pound ground meat
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • Dry parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • First Step: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, except for the cheese, until well combined.
  • Second Step: Place half of the meat mixture in the loaf pan, pressing it in slightly.
  • Layer 3 slices of cheese over the meat mixture.
  • Third Step: Add the remaining meat mixture on top of the cheese, pressing it down slightly.
  • Top with the remaining 3 slices of cheese.
  • Fourth Step: Sprinkle dry parsley over the top, if desired.
  • Fifth Step: Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Slice and serve your delicious Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf!
