Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lb ground beef Can substitute with turkey or a plant-based alternative.
  • 2 pieces bell peppers, chopped Any color.
  • 0.5 pieces onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x9 baking dish generously.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. As it starts to cook, introduce the chopped onions and bell peppers. Keep cooking until the beef is fully browned and the veggies are soft.
  3. Sprinkle in the seasoned salt and minced garlic, sautéing for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  4. Layer the beef and veggie mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the beef in the baking dish, then lay the provolone cheese slices over the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the egg is set and the cheese is melted and golden.
  8. Let the casserole cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
