Preparation
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- With the mixer running on low, gradually pour in the oil and warm water until a smooth dough forms (about 2-3 minutes).
- Transfer the dough to a floured cutting board and divide it into 16 equal portions.
- Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten them slightly.
- Allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Take one ball of dough and use a rolling pin to roll it out into a thin circle.
- Cook the tortilla in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Transfer the cooked tortilla to a plate and repeat with the remaining dough.

Notes
