Ingredients
  

Taco Shells

  • 8 pieces small taco shells, soft or hard Use soft for crisping or hard as is.

Pizza Toppings

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 20 to 25 slices pepperoni

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for brushing Optional for soft shells
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil, optional For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • For soft taco shells, lightly brush each with olive oil and arrange on a baking tray. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until lightly crisped.

Assembly

  • Spread pizza sauce into the base of each taco shell.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Place pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan and season with oregano and garlic powder.

Baking

  • Assemble tacos on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Customize toppings as desired. For extra heat, add jalapeños or red pepper flakes. Can make vegetarian by using veggies instead of pepperoni.
