Pecan Filling
- In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Stir over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened, about 5–7 minutes.
- Gently pour the pecan mixture over the batter in the dish.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly on top.
Baking
- Bake uncovered for 50–55 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
