Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups salted peanuts Use fresh peanuts for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips Can substitute with dark chocolate if desired.
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil Optional for smoother chocolate.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a crockpot or microwave-safe bowl, combine the salted peanuts, milk chocolate chips, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. If desired, add the coconut oil for smoother chocolate.
  • If using a crockpot, set it on low and stir occasionally until everything is melted and mixed together well, about 1-2 hours. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
  • Once everything is melted, use a spoon to drop clusters onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Let the clusters cool and harden at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
  • Once set, you can package them for gifts or enjoy them yourself.

Notes

Store the peanut clusters in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to a month. Stir the mixture well to coat all the peanuts with chocolate. Use parchment paper for easier cleanup.
