- In a medium saucepan, mix together the sugar, peanut butter, and corn syrup. Be careful not to let it burn, as this will ruin the recipe.
- Stir the mixture until well melted, then remove the pan from heat.
- Combine the warm peanut butter mixture with the crisp rice cereal.
- Grease a 9×13 inch pan well with butter or margarine, and spread the mixture evenly in the pan.
- Allow it to cool. Once the mixture is no longer sticky to the touch, cut it into bars.
