Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, light brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to create the crumble topping.
- Add the butter to the crumble mixture and mix until the texture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.
- In another bowl, combine the sliced peaches with additional brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss until well coated.
Baking
- Transfer the peaches to the greased baking dish and sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over them.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
