Ingredients
  

  • 8 large fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with butter.
  • Combine the sliced peaches with the granulated sugar, then spread them evenly in the bottom of the greased casserole dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined. Using your hands, drop small dollops of the batter onto the peaches.
  • Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the dough.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the fruit is bubbly and the cobbler topping is golden brown.

Notes

This Peach Cobbler is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a deliciously comforting dessert experience.
