Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture, then place them in a baking dish.
Baking
- Pour the beef and marinara sauce mixture over the stuffed shells.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes; then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes
