  • 4 pieces Boneless Chicken Breasts (about 1 lb or 450g)
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise or Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (divided) Reserve half for topping
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Seasoning Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil (optional for marinating)
  • Fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, or basil (optional)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne (optional for spice)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut each chicken breast into three equal pieces.
  • Optionally marinate the chicken with salt, garlic powder, and olive oil or brine in saltwater.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, half the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Cooking

  • Place chicken in a greased baking dish and spoon the topping over each piece.
  • Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a variety of sides, including fresh salad, steamed vegetables, or pasta. For a low-carb option, serve it over cauliflower rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
