Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs gluten-free for a gluten-free option
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil, then dip into the beaten egg.
  4. Dredge the chicken breasts in the Parmesan mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flip the chicken, and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is golden brown.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Ensure the chicken breasts are evenly coated with the Parmesan mixture to achieve a crispy crust. Monitor the cooking time closely to prevent overcooking and ensure juicy chicken.
