  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Mix with other cheeses like cheddar if you like.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds using a spoon, creating a boat-like shape.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each zucchini half generously with the cheese and sauce mixture.
  5. Place the filled zucchini boats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the zucchinis are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving for a pop of color and extra flavor!
