Ingredients

Cookie Base
  • 15 oz white cake mix (any brand)
  • 3 oz orange powdered Jell-O
  • 2 tbsp orange zest freshly grated for best flavor
  • 8 tbsp butter softened
  • 2 eggs eggs
Mix-ins
  • 11 oz white chocolate chips

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, orange powdered Jell-O, and orange zest, mixing gently until well combined.
  3. Add in the softened butter and eggs. Use a hand mixer, stand mixer, or a whisk to mix on medium speed until the mixture is creamy and fully blended.
  4. Gently fold the white chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
Baking
  1. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out about 1 ½ tablespoons of dough, roll them into balls, and place them 1-2 inches apart on your prepared baking sheets.
  2. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are fully baked but soft in the center.
  3. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
