  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the chocolate layer
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  7. Pour this chocolate mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  2. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares and serving.
