- In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
- Once hot, add the minced garlic, sautéing it for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Pour in the broth, bringing it to a boil.
- Add your choice of pasta, stirring occasionally and cooking uncovered until most of the liquid is absorbed and the pasta is al dente (about 10–12 minutes).
- Reduce the heat to low, and then slowly stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra cheese before serving.

Notes
