Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- Pour in the water and mix until it forms a wet, sticky dough.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, allowing it to rest at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C), placing a cast-iron pot inside to heat.
- After the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it gently into a ball.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- Carefully place the dough into your hot pot, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
