Ingredients
  

Basic Ingredients
  • 1 cup Baking soda Affordable and safe cleaner.
  • 3-5 tablespoons Warm water To make a spreadable paste.
  • as needed White vinegar Optional for a final spritz and shine.
  • 1 Soft sponge or non-scratch scrub pad For wiping and cleaning.
  • 1 Plastic scraper Or an old plastic card for scraping.
  • 2-3 Microfiber cloths For wiping and drying.
  • optional Gloves If you have sensitive skin.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Remove the oven racks and set them aside.
  2. Dust out any loose crumbs from the oven floor.
Mixing the Paste
  1. Mix 1 cup of baking soda with 3 to 5 tablespoons of warm water to create a thick, spreadable paste.
Applying the Paste
  1. Spread the paste over the oven floor, sides, and inside of the door, avoiding heating elements.
Letting it Sit
  1. Allow the paste to sit for 30 to 60 minutes for everyday grease, or 2 to 3 hours for tougher stains.
Wiping and Rinsing
  1. Use a damp sponge to lift the paste and grime, rinsing the sponge often.
  2. For stubborn areas, gently scrape with a plastic scraper.
Finishing Up
  1. Wipe the oven door glass clean and spritz lightly with vinegar for extra shine.

Notes

For heavy-duty cleaning, mix baking soda with water and coarse salt, apply generously, and let it sit longer. Remember to periodically clean your oven based on use.
