  • 8 oz wide rice noodles or lo mein noodles Choose your favorite type.
  • 1 lb ground beef For a rich, meaty flavor.
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil For cooking.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced The aromatic base.
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce For that umami kick.
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar To add depth.
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil For finishing.
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced To garnish.

Preparation
  1. Prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, then add the soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir to combine everything beautifully.
  5. Toss the cooked noodles into the pan and mix thoroughly, ensuring every strand is coated with the savory sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle sliced green onions on top.

Notes
